For nearly a century, Camp Fort Hill has kept the spirit of exploration alive.

Where memories are made.

Located on 228 acres of wooded hills in St. Joseph County, Camp Fort Hill has provided a rich outdoor experience since 1928. Campers can explore miles of forest trails, swim and canoe on Lake Tamarack, or try their luck on the climbing wall and Initiative Course. We are proud to have provided nearly a century of memories to groups of all kinds and we look forward to adventuring with you.

Camp Fort Hill is not a campground. We rent the entire camp (cabins, lodge and waterfront access) to private groups. Beach access on Lake Tamarack is not for the public. Beach access is not available to kayakers, boaters, fishers, or hikers. Beach access is reserved for private rental groups and day campers.

Dave Ludders | Camp Director

Dave became involved at CFH as a volunteer in 1996. Dave helped build the climbing wall and challenge course in 1998. Dave joined the Board of Directors in 2000 and became Camp Director and Vice President of the board in 2006. What Dave enjoys most about CFH is challenging the children to try things that are new and different.
