Camp Information & Reservations
Camp Fort Hill is open from May until the end of October.
The camp can be used during the other times, but there
is no running water. We do have access to water at the
nature centre and an outhouse is available. The lodge
does have heat for winter groups.
The Kribs Nature Centre is available for rental. The upper
level can be used for meetings while the lower level is
available for meetings or overnight stays, but is limited
to 10 or fewer people. It has heat, water, restrooms,
and limited cooking facilities.
When you rent the camp you are responsible for all clean
up and damages (beyond normal wear and tear). You have
the camp to yourself with the exception of the nature
centre and any programs it is running. This includes the
waterfront, boats, and canoes.
When the Kribs Nature Centre is rented we ask that all
trash be taken to the dumpster at the main camp and floors
The camp will sleep 105 and the dining hall can handle
that many folks, although it will be a tight fit. There
is a kitchen with pots and pans, but the health dept.
says to bring disposable plates, cups, and dinnerware.
Groups that have used the camp the current year have the
opportunity to ask for a reservation again, with youth
groups having priority. Any openings available can be
obtained on the first Sunday in December starting at 12:00
It is wise to have as many possible dates in mind as there
will be few, if any openings. Call starting at noon. By
2:00 pm all openings will usually be filled.
